Quick note,
Class started today and I got into the class I needed to test into in order for all my credits to transfer back to UNL. Such a relief. My classes are great so far...just had language today but will also have a culture class on Tuesdays and Thursdays....the University doesnt hold classes on Fridays....awesome :D. My teacher is great and i have fun kids in my class....not to mention a pretty darn good looking Texan that may come home with me. When we introduced ourselves we obviously both said where we were from... and we both kinda laughed and I said Its ok, we can still be friends...he laughed as well and said of course we can. After class, one of this kids that is in my class said we should go get some coffee and just hang out since we had nothing to do for awhile...talk about thick coffee...i usually drink my coffee black but holy cow, strong.
Today is very sunny, and it feels like a perfect spring day in Nebraska. Joy and I are headed to a near by mall to meet some friends for awhile...so Adios for now...
Safe travels for my dad, love you so much

Good day Sweetie....Texas huh! Doesn't surprise me that your dad is headed to Haiti. Sounds like you are settling in and I'm so glad for that. Spent the weekend with the grandsons...they can sure teach me about life. But I have to admit when I was holding them...I was thinking about all the little ones that need to be held and cared for in Haiti....bet that has crossed your mind also. I listened to the Chipmunks CD "Squeakweal" with the boys many times as we drove in Omaha...now that would be something if that was played on the Spanish airways. I sure enjoy the Blackeyed Peas and Pink...of course listening to the boys sing it and tell me to turn it up is so darn cute. Time for CURVES. Love to you ...don't get to use to that thick coffee...your eyes will start to bug out.:) Keep sharin that sweet smile ...Lonna
ReplyDeleteoh Melinda this is so good, and I was so worried that you wouldn't meet anyone, and and and no beer for you or parties or late nite, but it is all coming together and maybe even a little school but that is the small part, happy for and am excited for your dad, am jealous he is going again, we are scheduling another trip, raised $2400 at church sun. for kid's against hunger, they have a in with the military to ship, funeral on thursday, ah but you are young my little senorita, that and taco are the extent of my vocabulary, prayer, Lord help melinda find a church and let her be salt and light to her friends, even if it's on a margarita glass, pdc

As for the coffee it is definently in my blood to be able to drink strong coffee, get it from the momma :D. Thanks for the comment. xoxoxo
